Where a CT is required to be mounted in enclosed Air chamber –Resin cast (Epoxy Moulded) CT is the best option. These are used in Transformer Cable Box, Switch gears, over Bus Bars , In side bus ducts, in Test lab and Test beds. Such CTs can be either Window type, Bar Primary or Wound Primary deign.. These are normally limited to 11 KV class system.
